I'm curious, at the track, what RPM would you be able to launch at if yer torque is over 1000 at 2700rpm? Cuz I assume traction was an issue before you turbo'd it, now your power numbers are basically doubled.. wow...

my other car is over 1000 tq and it hooks pretty good. 1.4 60's with it and this one actually has a better suspension and rear end in it...with big power you dont need as much gear....my other car is 308s and this one is running 350's . we will see how it goes....the bigger turbo's should actually make things happen a little later but push more up top....but passing in overdrive should be no problem.

the guy at the dyno just built a set for his little 1300 hp station wagon engine....with some bigger t 4 turbo's were just going to do some experimenting....he loves turbo engines. the results were better then i had expected really....the torque is unreal the dyno shut down on the first pull cause it had 1000 tq limit and he started the pull at 2500 and it didn't hit 3000 and shut off....so he changed it to a 1500 limit and we pulled 3000 to 4000.

we gave it a couple pulls last night with a pair of 67 mm t4 turbos and other headers. torque was pretty well flat at 1000 from 3000 to 5000 rpm and the hp was climbing over the 900 hp mark and with less boost then before but the one test turbo had a bearing failure. so we quit...its dyno time is done....time to get it back in the car. engine is running good though.
